TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2232 - International Fellowship for Early Stage and Outstanding Researchers
Dear Researchers,
The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is the leading R&D funding agency in Turkey and an internationally renowned organization that supports and coordinates scientific research, provides scholarships to researchers and supports R&D activities and innovation in industry by promoting university-industry collaborations.
The Council has announced a new call under the BİDEB 2232-A programmes titled "The International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers" and BİDEB 2232-B programme titled "The International Fellowship for Early Stage Researchers" which are open for applications(https://ebideb.tubitak.gov.tr/basvuruacikprogramlar.htm?language=en)2021 with a deadline of June 30, 2021. The programme aims to provide support and encourage leading researchers, particularly Turkish researchers, with international working experience to come to Turkey and to conduct their research in a leading academic, industrial or public institution. The duration of the fellowship will be between 24 to 36 months. Within the scope of the programme, the project leader will be provided with a scholarship for monthly living expenses, allowance for family living expenses, research grant and travel allowance.

In order for a smooth fulfilment of the administrative requirements for applications, the deadline of which is June 30, 2021, Wednesday, we would like to inform you that the document described below in item (ii) should be completed and submitted to the Office of Sponsored Projects by the end of working hours on June 28, 2021 Monday in order for the document requested by TÜBİTAK and described in item (i) to be prepared on time.
- An institutional invitation letter signed by the Vice President
- Letter indicating the consent of the relevant department about the proposal
Please be noted that eligible applicants also have to find a peer/buddy from MU to liaise between them and the department/faculty as they will be expected to give a course during their stay and probably need access to departmental and laboratory facilities.
